Man Up Now Examines "The Secret:", Offers Clarification

The importance of the state of your consciousness cannot be overlooked. In using new thought techniques it is necessary to change your vibration to one thst resonates with whatever it is you wish to create in your life. Changing your vibration takes action. If you aren't used to taking action it can seem hard, but it does get easier. As you see the results of you're actions it inspires you to continue. Constantly remembering that you can create your reality and make the necessary changes is empowering.

At a recent Meet the Founders event in Pasadena, one participant offered the following opinion of Man Up Now, "These guys are better than the Secret." Man Up Now Co-founder Ed Manfre was quick to chime in and set the record straight, "I wouldn't say we're better than the secret. We actually have alot in common with The Secret, and we derive lots of our philosophies from the teachings of people like Demartini, Vitale, and Reverend Beckwith. These guys have fundamentally shaped our way of thinking. They've really been our inspiration". Pollard points to the recent media storm surrounding The Secret, and offers the following, "Lots of people mischaracterize The Secret in a way that isn't totally honest. The Secret isn't just about positive thinking, it's about taking action, it's about a state of being. If I want to be healthy, I can't sit around my house eating pizza and thinking positive thoughts. That'll never work. But if I get myself into a state of health consciousness, I'm going to take the right actions to get myself healthy."
